The internship is for a minimum of 3 months, fully-remote and it is unpaid.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Human Resources Assistant Intern to play a pivotal role in our organisation. You’ll be involved in key HR functions, with a focus on recruitment, training, and employee engagement. You will work closely with our management team to shape the future of our HR policies and culture, while also assisting with general administrative and executive assistant duties.
This is a chance to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of human resources management within a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruit & Onboard: Assist in the entire recruitment process, from writing job descriptions and advertising roles to screening resumes, conducting interviews and welcoming new team members.
2. Manage HR Functions: Help develop and implement HR policies, analyse training needs and plan staff inductions. You will also manage employee records and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
3. Support Management: Provide support to the CEO and management team with day-to-day activities, including managing schedules, handling general inquiries and administering daily workflows.
4. Engage & Collaborate: Organise team-building activities and events to enhance employee engagement and collaborate with different departments to meet their specific HR needs.
Who We're Looking For:
1. Exceptional Communication: You have strong verbal, written and presentation skills and can communicate effectively and articulately with all levels of the organisation.
2. Organised & Detail-Oriented: You possess a high level of organisational skills, are self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. You are driven to improve processes and can handle confidential information professionally.
3. Professional & Proactive: You have a professional approach to HR and the ability to interpret and explain the legal framework regulating employment. You are proactive, can manage multiple tasks, and have a positive attitude.
4. Relevant Background: A background in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a strong plus. You should also be familiar with Google products like Gmail, Calendar, and Drive and project management tools like Trello.
Benefits of Joining Us:
1. Hands-on Experience: Gain practical experience in all aspects of HR, from recruitment and training to employment law and administration.
Skill Development: Sharpen your communication, organisational and analytical skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
2. Professional Networking: Collaborate with professionals in an inclusive teamwork environment, fostering valuable connections for future career opportunities.
3. Meaningful Contribution: Make a real impact on the growth and culture of Babylon by shaping our team and contributing to a positive workplace.
