GPC Finance is thrilled to be working with a 2 Partner progressive accountancy and advisory firm in Louth. Brilliant opportunity to join a dedicated and highly experienced team. Reporting to the Partners, this role will offer the successful candidate exposure to a wide variety of clients from sole traders to medium-sized companies. The role will look to build, manage and maintain excellent client relationships. This role will suit an accountant seeking career development and progression and building on their experience in Practice.Duties&Responsibilities Accounts preparation for a diverse portfolio of Companies, Partnerships&Sole Traders Audit of small and medium sized companies, regulated entities Company Secretarial Filings Preparation&filing of corporate and personal tax returns Preparation&submission of VAT/PAYE Returns Leading and mentoring junior staff members The Candidate The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (CPA/ACA/ACCA) and have: 4+ PQE in Practice Strong analytical/problem-solving skills Strong level of attention to detail Excellent organisation, communication and time management skillsExperience in using CCH, Relate/Surf Software, Cloud Accounting Packages (not essential) Experience in using Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to be flexible and to work under pressure Self-starter and ability to work on own initiative Benefits Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
