We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Retail Manager to lead our onboard retail teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences at sea.What You’ll Do:
As Retail Manager, you’ll take charge of multi-brand, multi-boutique retail operations aboard a luxury cruise ship. You’ll inspire and lead a diverse team, drive sales, and create a welcoming, high-energy environment for guests from around the globe. Your leadership will set the tone for service excellence, operational efficiency, and memorable guest interactions—making every voyage extraordinary.Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team, setting clear sales and guest experience targets Champion“The Starboard Way” by modelling outstanding service and sales behaviours Analyze sales performance, recommend improvements, and implement strategies to exceed targets Build strong relationships with onboard management and cruise line partnersCreate and execute marketing and merchandising events to boost guest engagement and revenue Oversee store operations, inventory, and compliance with all policies and safety standards Foster a fun, collaborative, and inclusive team culture on board 3–5 years’ management experience in retail or hospitality (luxury experience a plus)Proven success driving sales in multi-brand or multi-store environments Strong talent development and team leadership skills Skilled at engaging with international guests and building relationships Experience in fine jewellery sales is a plus Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint Who Thrives Here:

Requirements
Able to live and work on a cruise ship for 6-month contracts (7 days/week, up to 77 hours) Valid passport (and seaman book, if possible) Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 lbs Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) Ready to participate in safety drills and emergency procedures
