Purcell O’ Leary have been assigned to recruit for the role of HR Business Partner. |The HRB will act as a
consultant and advisor
to management, ensuring that HR strategies support overall business objectives. Unlike traditional HR roles, HRBPs are embedded within business units to drive performance and culture.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Business Partner
Strategic Alignment
Partner with leadership to design and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
Provide insights on workforce planning, succession, and organizational design.
Employee Relations
Resolve complex employee relations issues.
Promote positive workplace culture and engagement.
Performance&Talent Management
Support managers in performance reviews, coaching, and career development.
Identify training needs and oversee learning initiatives.
Change Management
Guide leaders through organizational change, restructuring, or transformation projects.
Data&Analytics
Use HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements in productivity and retention.
Skills&Competencies of the HR Business Partner
Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Analytical mindset with experience in HR metrics and reporting.
Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Qualifications for the HR Business Partner
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) often preferred.
5 to 7 years of HR experience, ideally in a business partner or advisory role
