Who we are looking for We are hiring a Digital Asset GD Fund Accounting Specialist to be a Fund Accounting subject matter expert, participating in workstreams to build digital asset operations within State Street’s infrastructure. You will be responsible for sharing knowledge and expertise around current operational workflows, maintaining alignment to GDFund Accounting leadership, escalating any concerns to functional leadership, acquiring approvals of new models with functional leadership, and maintaining alignment with digital asset operations leadership. We expect this candidate to have a risk‑excellent mindset and be proficient in establishing an effective control environment. The ideal candidate should understand digital asset concepts (blockchain knowledge, understanding of digital asset types, decentralized finance, tokenization, etc.). At a minimum this candidate should have intellectual curiosity to learn about digital asset servicing. This role will have a dual reporting line to GDFund Accounting leadership and digital asset operations leadership.

What you will be responsible for As a Digital Asset GD Fund Accounting Specialist, you will

Participate in workstreams as a Fund Accounting subject matter expert for digital asset operations across a portfolio of value streams to deliver digital asset capabilities

Foster alignment between value streams, manage interdependencies, and deliver value at an organizational level

Establish risk control procedures to ensure risk excellence across all capabilities

Partner with testing teams to develop, test, and enhance capability development in UAT and Production

Manage risks, resources, and stakeholder communications across the workstream

Provide regular communication and reporting updates to ensure full transparency and clarity of workstream delivery to both the functional leadership teams and digital asset operations leadership teams

Knowledge of Fund Accounting systems, data flows, and overall operating model

Ability to elevate risks and decision points quickly to the appropriate stakeholders, whether that be functional leadership, digital leadership, and/or project leadership

Ability to review and vet a new operating model for viability and alignment to our existing infrastructure

Collaboration with other Fund Accounting business units as well as other departments within State Street

Experience executing on a project as a critical stakeholder, including excellent time management and multi‑tasking skills

Experience in Fund Accounting operations and strong working knowledge of day‑to‑day Fund Accounting responsibilities and processes

Education&Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline

Ability to excel when faced with the unknown and challenged to develop new ways

Excellent communication and escalation ability

Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and external stakeholders

Hands‑on experience with digital assets and wallets, distributed ledger technology, tokenization is preferred
