Centre Worker - Bawnogue Community Centre Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.

Job Description Duties This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Support the Manager in ensuring the following duties are carried out: that all rooms are kept to a high standard of cleanliness at all times in conjunction with other staff.

Inform the Manager of any maintenance/repairs required.

Ensure garden and carpark are clean and well-kept.

Support the Manager in ensuring fire safety standards are upheld at all times in the Centre.

Be aware of all Centre activities and be in a position to provide potential customers/clients with information on the Centre schedule.

Engage in general day‑to‑day cleaning and preparation of the Centre.

Undertake any training deemed necessary by the Manager/Management Committee.

Any other duties as may be required from time to time.

Attending training is an integral part of the C.E. Programme.
