Our client, a respected mid‑tier accounting firm based in Trim, delivers high‑quality audit, advisory, and accounting services to a diverse client base. In this role, you will manage a varied portfolio while providing accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and advisory support.
Responsibilities
Oversee a diverse portfolio, preparing management accounts, financial statements, and tax filings in line with statutory requirements and firm standards.
Provide high‑quality accounting, compliance, and advisory services, building strong client relationships and offering clear, commercially focused insights.
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and companies, ensuring full compliance and delivering practical, solution‑driven advice.
Guide and support junior team members through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing, contributing to efficient internal processes and consistent service delivery.
Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with experience at Senior Accountant level.
Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience within a professional practice environment.
Strong technical knowledge of Irish GAAP and solid familiarity with FRS 102.
Strong understanding of Irish tax compliance for both individuals and companies.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
Highly organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working independently to meet deadlines.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Surf Accounts, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
