Group Accountant, Dublin

Our client, a leading company with a global reach, is looking for a recently qualified accountant to join as Group Management Accountant. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, this role will support the delivery of consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities while ensuring high standards of accuracy, compliance and financial control. The successful candidate will take ownership of management accounting activities for several group entities and contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Produce consolidated cashflow reporting along with debtor and creditor analysis

Assist in the enhancement and ongoing preparation of group-wide financial reporting

Collaborate with finance teams across the business to ensure reporting deadlines are achieved

Prepare monthly management accounts for assigned entities in an accurate and timely manner

Ensure all relevant statutory, VAT and regulatory filings are completed in line with requirements

Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process

Coordinate with external auditors during year-end audit activities

Work with external advisors to ensure all tax compliance obligations are met

Provide financial analysis and support for ad-hoc projects and reporting requirements

Key Skills

Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 0-2 years PQE

Familiarity with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements; VAT experience advantageous

Strong Excel and general systems capability

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines

Self-motivated with a proactive and collaborative approach

Strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
