We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused

Solar Panel Installer / Roofer

to join our client based in

Co Meath

renewable energy team.

The successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial rooftops while ensuring all roofing work is completed to high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install solar PV panels, mounting systems, and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted structures.

Perform roofing work including tile, slate, metal, and flat roof preparation and repairs.

Measure, cut, and assemble mounting and support structures.

Ensure solar systems are installed according to electrical, structural, and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

Previous experience in roofing, construction, or solar panel installation preferred.

Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.

Familiarity with roofing tools and safety equipment.

Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality.

Valid driver’s license

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic understanding of electrical systems is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with solar PV systems.

Working at Heights certification.

Manual Handling certification.

Safe Pass or equivalent construction safety certification.

Roofing or carpentry background.
