Financial Accountant, Dublin

Sanderson are partnering with an international group to recruit a Financial Accountant to join its head office finance team in North Dublin. The business is in a strong period of growth and transformation, with a key focus on strengthening financial reporting, controls, systems and processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven, detail-oriented accountant to make a real impact while working within a collaborative, fast-paced, multinational environment. The successful candidate will support the ongoing streamlining and enhancement of financial and operational processes, including the implementation of new systems and ways of working to support rapid growth. Key Responsibilities Month-end and year-end close processes Ensuring timely and accurate postings across revenue, costs, FX, prepayments, accruals, P and L and Balance Sheet Conducting detailed reviews to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy Ensuring adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Supporting year-end audits at both group and local levels, including responses to internal audit queries Identifying, proposing and helping deliver process improvements and automation initiatives Supporting the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies Building strong working relationships across finance and the wider business Contributing to ongoing initiatives to strengthen financial reporting, controls and team capabilities Essential Criteria Fully qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA. Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in a multinational environment Strong experience using SAP, particularly in General Ledger and month-end close activities Experience within a large, fast-growing multinational organisation Highly organised, detail-focused, with a mindset for continuous improvement Strong technical financial accounting knowledge and compliance experience Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines Advanced Microsoft Excel skills SAP and Power BI experience an advantage For more information contact Elaine Liston in Sanderson n or apply online for more information Skills: Financial Accountant ACA ACCA CIMA general ledger
