Registered General Nurse - Nursing Home | Swords, County Dublin

We are currently recruiting a Registered General Nurse (RGN) for a modern nursing home located in Swords, County Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and motivated nurse to join a professional team dedicated to providing high-quality care to elderly residents in a supportive and friendly environment.

• Current NMBI registration (Registered General Nurse / First Level Nurse)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for working with elderly residents
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Knowledge of HIQA Standards
• Previous experience in elderly care or nursing homes is desirable
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and ensure residents' needs are met with dignity and respect
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and report any concerns appropriately
• Develop, implement and regularly review individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families and healthcare professionals
• Administer medications safely and maintain accurate documentation in line with NMBI guidelines and company policies
• Maintain clear and accurate clinical records for all residents
• Conduct regular resident assessments and health checks
• Provide clear handovers to colleagues at the end of each shift
• Promote a safe and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team
