Overview

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and stabilise a key AML programme. The role will focus on driving momentum, establishing structure, and ensuring delivery across regulatory-driven initiatives. This position is critical in aligning business processes with evolving financial crime regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and re-energise an existing AML programme, providing clear direction, structure, and delivery momentumDrive initiatives linked to new and emerging financial crime regulations, translating requirements into actionable outcomesOversee changes across policies, procedures, and operational processes to ensure regulatory complianceEngage with senior stakeholders across compliance, risk, and operations to ensure alignment and effective executionEstablish strong governance, reporting frameworks, and programme controlsIdentify risks and dependencies, ensuring proactive mitigation and resolutionCoordinate cross-functional teams to deliver programme objectives within agreed timelines

Key Requirements

Proven experience as a Programme Manager within financial servicesStrong experience in AML, KYC, or broader financial crime programmesDemonstrated ability to recover and drive underperforming or stalled programmesStrong understanding of regulatory change and its impact on business processes and policyExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience delivering business-led change programmes with minimal technology involvement
