Responsibilities
Undertake routine inspection and servicing of site-wide electrical systems to maintain functionality and compliance.Identify, assess, and communicate emerging electrical issues or hazards to the Facilities Engineer for timely resolution.Work alongside cross-functional technical teams, including mechanical and multi-skilled staff, to maintain integrated facility systems.Support the upkeep of non-electrical infrastructure when qualified and appropriate, escalating issues where necessary.Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure all technical records are updated, stored securely, and retrievable when required.Offer facility-related data and updates when permitted, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with operational needs.Respond promptly to maintenance tickets raised through the facilities' helpdesk, troubleshoot faults, and implement efficient solutions.Liaise with external contractors, ensuring they’re briefed on the work required and that their service is monitored and recorded.Provide feedback to the Facilities Engineer regarding contractor performance and the results of any service or callout work.Take ownership of maintenance requests, ensuring jobs are logged, tracked, and closed out with clear documentation and follow-up.Ensure all scheduled and reactive tasks are completed on time and to the expected standard.Monitor work instructions through digital communication tools and confirm completion via internal approval processes.Keep structured records using digital tools or manual logs, in line with agreed protocols set by the Facilities Engineer.
