Staff Nurse - Interventional Radiology - Dublin

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Staff Nurse - Interventional Radiology to join a leading private acute hospital setting in Dublin.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated nurse to join a specialist multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care across a wide range of minimally invasive diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in a modern hospital environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists, consultants, and clinical teams to support patients throughout their procedural journey while ensuring the highest standards of safety and care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide safe and effective nursing care within the Interventional Radiology departmentAssist with a variety of diagnostic and image-guided interventional proceduresPrepare patients before procedures including assessments, monitoring, and educationMonitor patients during and after procedures, responding appropriately to clinical changesSupport radiologists and multidisciplinary teams during proceduresAdminister medications and treatments in line with hospital policies and NMBI guidelinesEnsure accurate clinical documentation and patient recordsMaintain strict infection prevention, radiation safety, and patient safety standardsAssist with equipment preparation, stock management, and procedural room setupProvide reassurance and emotional support to patients and families

Requirements

Registered General Nurse with active NMBI registrationMinimum 1-2 years' experience in acute hospital settings preferredExperience in Radiology, Theatre, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, or Recovery desirableStrong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environmentStrong focus on patient safety and quality care

Stamp 4 or EU Passport holders only at this stageMust have full eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship
