Location: Dublin 15 Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time Salary: 38-42k Celtic Careers are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join a busy and fast-paced finance team within a well-established organisation operating in the construction sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional who is comfortable managing high-volume accounts receivable processes and proactively engaging with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.

Key Responsibilities
Set up new customer accounts on Sage Intacct Conduct credit report checks Post and allocate customer payments Manage cash sales processes Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding outstanding payments Chase overdue invoices and ensure debts are collected in a timely manner Issue credit notes for cash sales and discount rebates Prepare and issue end-of-month statements Upload invoices and credit notes Manage debit note treatment Handle major debtor remittances and reconciliations Issue consolidated debtor statements
Requirements
Several years’ experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control Experience working in a high-volume finance environment Strong communication skills with confidence in chasing payments over the phone Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Experience using Sage Intacct or similar ERP/accounting systems is advantageous Previous experience within the construction industry is preferred
