Role: Architectural Technologist - Roofing
Location: Dublin
Job Type: Permanent - Full time

Your new role includes:

Develop detailed and accurate roofing designs based on project specifications and client requirements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure cohesive and feasible roofing solutions.
Select appropriate roofing materials and systems considering durability, cost, and environmental impact.
Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models using CAD or specialized design software.
Conduct site assessments to gather data and verify design feasibility and compliance with regulations.
Review and revise designs in response to client feedback and regulatory changes.
Ensure all roofing designs adhere to safety standards, local building codes, and industry best practices.
Support project management by providing design documentation and assisting in cost estimation.

Experience you need:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in roofing design or a closely related area within construction or architectural design.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools for creating technical drawings.
Strong understanding of roofing materials, systems, and structural principles.
Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards concerning roofing installations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
