Tasks

Translation and cultural adaptation of game texts from English to Japanese (character dialogues, narrative, menu texts, descriptions of elements and functions) Meeting requirements for translation quality, speed, and deadlines Post-editing machine translation Interaction with editors, development teams, and other translators in the department Creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation for the assigned project (at least for 1 project): glossary in memoQ, articles and style guides in the Knowledge Base Handling feedback on the quality of translations

Requirements

Native fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken Fluency in English, both written and spoken A background in linguistics, translation, and/or localization is preferred Gaming experience and interest in mobile technology Excellent writing skills and attention to detail Critical thinking, creativity, commitment to quality
