About the team and the role:

Cloud Data Technologies (CDT) builds and operates on-premise, cloud-native data platforms and services that power eBay. Within CDT, the Program Management Office (PMO) brings structure to planning, governance, and delivery.

As a Program Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex, multi-team initiatives within a defined platform or product area. You will translate goals into actionable plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and establish consistent delivery practices. This role works closely with Product, Engineering, and partner teams, with a focus on execution, transparency, and continuous improvement.

What you will accomplish:

Deliver complex, cross-functional programs from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with defined scope, timelines, and success metricsTranslate platform or product goals into structured plans, breaking down work into clear milestones and coordinated workstreamsEstablish predictable delivery through program ceremonies, dependency tracking, and progress reportingIdentify and mitigate risks early, enabling informed decisions through clear escalation and trade-off analysisBuild strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, and partner teams, maintaining clear and consistent communicationStrengthen PMO practices by applying governance frameworks, improving processes, and contributing reusable playbooksSupport team growth by mentoring peers and promoting effective planning, estimation, and risk management practices

What you will bring:

5 or more years experience managing programs or projects within cloud, data platforms, or enterprise software, including delivery across multiple teamsPractical understanding of modern cloud and data technologies and how they shape technical planning and executionAbility to translate requirements into structured, executable plans with clear milestones and dependenciesStrong skills in planning, estimation, and risk management within agile or hybrid delivery environmentsClear and effective communication skills, including stakeholder alignment and status reporting across technical and non-technical audiencesFamiliarity with security, compliance, and data governance practices such as GDPRExperience working with distributed teams or within structured program governance environments is helpful
