Warehouse Supervisor, Dublin

Sam Dennigan & Company uc., one of the largest Irish owned Fresh Produce and logistics company based in North Co. Dublin, are currently recruiting for a Full-time Supervisor to join our Market team in Oldtown, North Dublin.

Role: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Sam Dennigan & Company, Oldtown, North Dublin

Working Hours: 39 hours based on a 5 over 7 days inclusive of weekends and public holidays

JOB PURPOSE:

• To effectively manage your team and resources, contributing to the Distribution Centre's aims of delivering a productive, cost effective, quality service to our Customers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. To ensure orders are picked accurately and in a time efficient manner.
• Ensure all goods are handled and stored correctly to minimise damage and loss.
• Liaise with the sales team to ensure all orders are processed accurately and on time.
• To deliver continuous improvement that is measured across the business.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise team within the warehouse.
• Ensure that your team adheres, to all Health & Safety, hygiene and legal requirements relating to the Distribution Centre to minimise any risk to themselves or others. 

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

• 6 months' experience working within a warehouse environment essential.
• Strong stock management experience essential ideally working within the fresh food industry.
• Experience working with warehouse/stock management systems essential.
• Strong leadership with good experience of people management.
• Strong Health & Safety Awareness.
• High level of self - motivation and the ability to motivate others.
• Ability to make decisions whilst working to rigid deadlines.
• Good methodical and logical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
• Good working knowledge of IT systems and strong IT skills.
• Flexible Attitude.
• Fluency in English.

Hours of Work

• 5 Days over 7
• Full time 39 hours per week
• Immediate start for suitable candidates
