Senior Signage Designer/Coordinator, Dublin

At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Senior Signage Draughtsman/Signage Designer join our client’s growing team based in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Signage Draughtsman/Signage Designer to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.
 
Role Overview:
A role that combines sign design and producing technical signage drawings for both the pricing & production stages of the signage project. 
Role will include liaising with suppliers, customers and the wider in-house team to ensure a seamless delivery of signage drawings from initial pricing through to customer development to final production stage. 
Knowledge of the signage industry & materials and experience with Adobe Suite is a must.



 
Responsibilities:
 Role Overview (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)

• Manage and coordinate key elements of Signage Design on multiple projects from brief through to production.
• Review incoming projects with the team, prepare scaled artwork for pricing, liaise with suppliers to obtain costings, collaborate with team leaders to finalise and issue accurate signage project quotes.
• Liaise with clients to agree final sign design requirements for the project
• Prepare and submit technical drawings and wayfinding artwork for client approval.
• Manage client communications, including issuing proofs and incorporating feedback, while keeping account of project timelines and accurately noting any changes that may impact project.
• Align artwork with site surveys and material specifications/costings.
• Generate and issue production files for manufacturing and print. 

 
 
 
 Required Skills & Experience
Senior-Level Signage Industry Experience (Essential)
Minimum 5 Years’ Senior Experience Working in the Signage Industry (Required)

• Experience working as a senior signage designer/draughtsman.
• Proven ability to manage signage project tasks and workflows efficiently.
• Strong understanding of signage design, materials, and construction methods.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
