We’re partnering with a leading global bank to hire a Senior Solutions Architect for their Risk Technology team. This is a high-impact role focused on designing mission-critical systems within a complex and highly regulated environment.

The Role

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you’ll lead the design of scalable, resilient solutions that support key risk functions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive architectural best practices, and play a key role in shaping the technical direction of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver architecture solutions for complex business challengesDefine and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and CI/CD pipelinesCollaborate with risk, compliance, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutionsContribute to innovation through PoCs and technical explorationProduce clear technical documentation, diagrams, and workflows for a range of stakeholdersGuide technology selection, vendor evaluation, and architectural decisionsMentor engineering teams and promote secure, resilient design principles

Key Requirements

5+ years’ experience in Solution Architecture (or similar role)Strong background in microservices / SOA architecture and containerised environmentsExperience with high-volume data processing / ETL pipelinesKnowledge of polyglot architectures (SQL & NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB)Experience designing REST / GraphQL APIs and event-driven systems (Kafka, Redis, etc.)Strong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences

Nice to Have

Experience with Time-Series or Graph databases (e.g. Prometheus, Neo4j)Hands-on coding experience in PythonFamiliarity with Agile methodologies
