:The opportunity
AsContract Manager you will be supporting our Grid Integration (PGGI)Business. You will be able to make an impact with your analytical,hands-onand autonomous approach, and contribute to the successful performance of our Contract Management team that works across Europe.
You are a reliable partner when it comes to the preparation of contracts /subcontracts, contractadministrationand project execution. You will ensure contract and risk management activities are executed ina timelyandaccuratemanner, protecting Hitachi Energy's interests throughout the project lifecycle.

How you'll make an impact
Develop contract strategies based on Hitachi Energy's policies, customer requirements, and the overall execution strategy considering risk, pricing, scope, and schedule.Provide guidance and leadership on contract related matters to cross functional business team members. Identifythe contract baseline (including terms and conditions, specifications, drawings, estimate, proposal,scheduleand other documents incorporated in the contract) and highlights areas of opportunities and potential risk.Ensuretimelyandaccurateexecution of commercial aspects on a portfolio of contracts / subcontracts (i.e. payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, provisions, guarantees, etc.).Verify that all parties to the contract have fulfilled their contractual obligations and there are no responsibilities outstanding.Together with Hitachi Energy's Legal Representatives, develop the negotiation strategy and support negotiations.Support the Legal team in handling formal dispute resolution,litigationand arbitration proceedings.Align with Hitachi Energy Legal to draft, negotiate andfinalizeagreements during the Sales and Project Execution phasesYour background
Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Project Management, ideally within the power sector, particularly in High Voltage, along with an open and enthusiastic 'hands-on' approach.In depth knowledge of construction law, contract administration and cost management are essential.Strong educational history in Quantity Surveying / Contract ManagementProfessional accreditation such as MRICSor similaris desirableQuantity Surveying and / or Law Degree is essentialStrong Organizational, leadership and communication skillsExperience working within high-profile, regulated environmentsExcellent analytical skills, attention to detail andstrong communicationskills are necessarytocollaborate effectively with stakeholdersQualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
