Communications Graphic Designer - Government Body (12 Month FTC) - Dublin 2 Location: Dublin (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 remote) Salary: €32,045 (fixed) Contract: 12 months Closing Date: Thursday, 21st May, 5:00pm A reputable government body is seeking aCommunications Graphic Designer to join its marketing team on a12-month contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a brand-focused designer with strong production discipline to contribute to high-quality, nationally significant communications. You will support the delivery of consistent, brand-led creative across digital and print channels, working closely with internal stakeholders to produce cohesive and visually compelling communications aligned to organisational strategy and public-facing campaigns. This position suits a designer with strong creative execution skills and experience working within structured brand systems in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments. Key Responsibilities Deliver consistent, brand-aligned design across all marketing materials Translate briefs into clear, creative outputs for digital and print Develop branded templates, toolkits, and visual systems Produce high-quality graphics, layouts, and illustrations using Adobe Creative Suite Ensure strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy across all outputs Adapt assets across reports, presentations, social media, and events Maintain and develop a central image bank Collaborate with marketing, copy, copywriters, agencies, and stakeholders Apply and refine brand guidelines to ensure consistency Review and refine designs based on feedback and channel requirements Identify opportunities to strengthen brand consistency and improve output Essential Requirements Level 8 qualification in Graphic Design / Visual Communications (or similar) 1+ years relevant experience (corporate, public sector, or agency) Strong experience working within brand guidelines and campaign environments Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills Experience producing digital and print-ready assets across multiple formats Desirable Motion graphics / After Effects Advanced PowerPoint / presentation design skills To apply: Send your CV to Philly Lambe at Lex Consultancy by Thursday 21st May at 5:00pm.
