Designer, Layout

About the Role
As a Designer, Layout, you are a developing professional with growing mastery of basic layout functions. You will design and implement integrated circuit layouts with moderate complexity, working with reasonable guidance while taking on increasingly challenging projects that contribute to ADI's innovative products.

Resolves moderately complex layout problems requiring analysisWorks with moderate guidance on defined objectivesHandles short-term focused projects with clear deliverablesMay provide coaching to junior engineersDesigns and implements integrated circuit layouts with moderate complexityPerforms timing extraction and analysis with increasing independenceUses EDA tools for layout and verification with growing proficiency

Must Have Skills

Layout Fundamentals: Demonstrated competence in IC layout design principles and implementationTechnical Proficiency: Proficiency in IC layout, CMOS technology, timing analysis, and EDA toolsProcess Understanding: Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processesBusiness Awareness: Understanding of how individual work impacts business objectivesCommunication Skills: Professional communication abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience2+ years of relevant experience
