The firm works on large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects for both public and private sector clients, and is now expanding its water and drainage team with a key hire.
Your new role As a Civil Drainage Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of drainage and water infrastructure projects. You’ll work on a variety of developments, from urban regeneration to major infrastructure schemes, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects, liaise with clients and authorities, and contribute to sustainable drainage and water management strategies.
What you'll need to succeed A Level 8+ Honours Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. 5+ years of relevant experience in Ireland, ideally within a consultancy environment. Strong technical knowledge of Irish drainage design standards and planning regulations. Proficiency in drainage design software such as MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, or Civil 3D. Experience preparing planning and construction documentation, including SuDS strategies and flood risk assessments. Ability to liaise with Irish Water, Local Authorities, and other stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.What you'll get in return Salary: €50,000 – €60,000, depending on experience.A key role in a growing team with the opportunity to shape drainage and water infrastructure delivery.
