Your new role
Joining the Reporting & Accounting team as an IFRS Reporting Accountant, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting processes and contribute to accurate submissions across local, group, and regulatory levels. Working under the guidance of senior colleagues, this role combines technical accounting, systems work, and stakeholder engagement, ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional ready to grow within a large, well-established business.
Responsibilities Include:Prepare timely financial reports for group and local managementSubmit accurate statutory and regulatory reportingAssist in Group Magnitude reporting and support senior management presentationsReconcile monthly control accounts and general ledger balancesInvestigate and resolve discrepancies, escalating when necessaryPrepare and review journal entries for upload onto financial systemsMaintain audit trails and evidence for reconciliations and controlsDocument and enhance financial processes, ensuring compliance with internal controlsCollaborate on system updates to support efficient reportingPartner across departments (Finance, Sales, Procurement) to ensure accuracy and complianceSupport the Finance team during annual audit activitiesParticipate in ad hoc projects and contribute to departmental improvements
What you'll need to succeed ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualificationMinimum 4 years’ accounting experienceProficient in IFRS reporting and financial reconciliationStrong knowledge of MS Office and financial systemsExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProven communication and relationship-building abilityAdaptability to work independently and within teams, often under time pressureA proactive mindset and readiness to take on varied duties and projectsPrior exposure to insurance or financial services is preferredWhat you'll get in return Competitive salary depending on experience BonusPensionHealthcare subsidy (post-probation)Annual leave: 24 days + 2 company days + option to purchase moreInsurance perks: off car and home cover, life insurance at 4x salaryVolunteering daysOn-site lunches: Fresh, free meals dailyHybrid model: 3 days in the office/2 days at home
