Financial Controller About the Company Financial Controller role available with a leading communications consultancy. Very commercial role working with the senior management team on the strategic direction of the organisation.Initially being offered a s long term contract with flexible hybrid working. About the Position Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting operations and accurate and timely financial reporting. The Financial Controller will ensure the financial systems of the business are robust and relevant to deliver the required financial outputs for successful delivery of the companys financial objectives. You will be heavily involved in the commercial development of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Management of month end process from timetable to preparation of internal monthly management accounts Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances Review actual against budget monthly and advise on appropriate actions based on monthly performance. Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business Management of the finance team and provide support and direction Key finance support role to the MDs, working closely with them to deliver the financial strategy for the business Commercial analysis support based on MI reports to achieve the financial imperatives across the teams Ensure client accounts are being managed within budgets agreed. Identify areas where improvements can be made to optimise commerciality. Utilisation of technology and financial systems to streamline business processes and give further enhancement to customer service while maintaining an effective control framework Ad-hoc projects as required. Experience/RequirementsQualified Accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Previous Financial Management/Control experience essential Strong analytical skills along with knowledge of general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, accounting standards and compliance regulations are essential.
