HR Manager – Maternity Cover, Dublin

Excel Recruitment is hiring a Human Resources Manager for one of Ireland’s leading hospitality service providers. This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract based in a busy, high-volume environment. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to support managers, lead on employee relations, oversee day-to-day HR operations, and help maintain strong people practices across the business.

Requirements of the Human Resources Manager

Previous experience in a Human Resources Manager or Senior HR Generalist role, ideally within hospitality, retail, catering, or another fast-paced environment. Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice. Experience managing employee relations issues with confidence and professionalism. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to support managers at all levels. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. Full right to work in Ireland and the ability to commute reliably to North Co. Dublin.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager

Act as the main HR point of contact for managers and employees across the site. Manage employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management. Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives in line with business needs. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure policies, procedures, and compliance standards are followed. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, employee engagement, and people issues. Contribute to HR reporting, audits, and ongoing people projects as required. Work closely with senior stakeholders to support a positive workplace culture and consistent HR approach.
