Assistant Psychologist– In-Custody Mental Health, Dublin

Position Overview The Irish Prison Service seeks to recruit Assistant Psychologists to support the work of their Psychology Service across all prisons. Assistant Psychologists will work as part of multi‑disciplinary teams to provide safe and secure custody, dignity of care, and rehabilitation for people in custody.

Responsibilities

Support local and national Irish Prison Service Psychology Services and enhance the contribution of qualified Psychologists.

Provide primary care mental health support to people in custody.

Assist with support service–related initiatives.

Deliver enhanced support to young people in custody.
