Operations Manager

to lead the launch and growth of a cutting‑edge Technical Training Academy in the Republic of Ireland, while supporting the continued development of their established academy in Northern Ireland.

This is far more than a traditional operations role. It’s a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high‑impact training business, drive commercial growth, build strategic partnerships, and carve out a genuine pathway to Director level through performance and results.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the establishment and day‑to‑day management of the ROI Training Academy

Supporting operational oversight of the NI academy

Driving business development and client acquisition

Building strong partnerships across industry, academia and government bodies

Ensuring excellence across quality, compliance and training delivery

Managing scheduling, resources and operational performance

Recruiting, leading and developing high‑performing teams

Representing the organisation at key industry events and networking forums

Ideal Candidate

ONC / HNC / Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Technical Operations or related discipline

5+ years’ experience in operations leadership, technical training, engineering services or similar

Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in business development

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

The ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment

Full clean driving licence and flexibility to travel across ROI and NI

Experience in HV/LV electrical systems is advantageous, but not essential.
