Finance Director - Technology / SaaS - Dublin/Hybrid

Due to ongoing and anticipated growth, a scaling technology / SaaS business, seek a commercially astute and ambitious Finance Director to join their leadership team. This role is based in Dublin but offering hybrid with 3 days anticipated in the office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing business, as the business enters their next phase of growth - expanding internationally, enhancing product innovation, and driving operational successful applicant, will play a key role in finance and commercial strategy for the business. Therefore, somebody with proven experience at finance leadership level is preferred, ideally in the technology / SaaS industry or similar. This role will suit a commercially minded finance leader who is comfortable operating at all levels - from shaping strategy and driving performance, to being hands-on with financial management, owning core financial processes and ensuring strong financial discipline across the business. Responsibilities: Financial Leadership & Planning Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Develop and maintain financial models aligned to ARR growth and cash flow. Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define and track key business KPIs. Provide clear, actionable insights to support decision-making. Operational Finance Own the end-to-end finance function, including management accounts, cash flow, and reporting. Oversee day-to-day financial operations including payroll review, payments, AR/AP, and controls. Work closely with the Finance Team to deliver high-quality outputs and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial data. Reporting & Compliance Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reporting. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements. Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and systems appropriate for a scaling SaaS business. Commercial & SaaS Metrics Monitor and optimise key SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, gross margin, CAC, LTV). Partner with the CEO & Leadership team on pricing, deal structures, and commercial decisions. Drive financial discipline and efficiency across the organisation. Strategic Support Support the CEO on strategic planning and business performance. Prepare the business for future funding or strategic opportunities as required. Provide financial input into key business initiatives and investments. Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing finance team. Build strong cross-functional relationships across the business. Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience 712 years experience in finance, with previous leadership responsibility. Experience in a B2B SaaS or technology business preferred. Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and subscription revenue models. Experience operating in a scaling or high-growth environment. Exposure to multi-entity or international operations is beneficial. Skills & Attributes Proven ability to leverage AI and automation tools to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency. Commercially minded with strong analytical capability. Hands-on and comfortable working across both strategic and operational finance. Strong communicator, able to influence and partner with senior stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
