Legal Executive, Dublin

We are recruiting a Legal Executive to work for a leading Law firm in the Dublin 8 area. You will work with an experienced Solicitor and small team. Previous Legal Secretarial/Executive experience in the area of family law from a general practice is preferable. Duties will be varied and will include: Draft correspondence, legal documents, affidavits, notices of motion and court forms. Prepare briefs and supporting documentation for counsel. Maintain accurate records, case notes and filing systems. Dictaphone typing Act as a point of contact for clients, maintaining professional communication with clients, barristers, courts and third parties. Assist with preparation for court hearings and mediations. Attend court with solicitors where required. Manage solicitor diaries and hearing schedules. Prepare bills, invoices, and legal aid documentation. Conduct legal research and update precedents. Ensure compliance with GDPR and anti-money laundering procedures. Skills Required Previous experience working in a legal executive or legal secretary role within family law in Ireland. Strong understanding of Irish family law procedures and court systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage sensitive and emotionally charged situations professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems. Desirable Diploma or qualification in Legal Studies, Legal Executive Studies, or similar. Experience with legal aid applications and District/Circuit Court procedures. Familiarity with digital dictation and e-filing systems.
