Accounts Payable Specialist - UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic, Dublin

Job Summary The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible foraccurately processing supplier invoices, ensuring timely payments, maintainingvendor records, and supporting month-end and year-endfinancial close activities. The role plays a key part in maintaining strongsupplier relationships and ensuring compliance with internal controls andaccounting policies. Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing& Payments Receive, review, and process supplier invoices in accordancewith company policies Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received notes(3-waymatching) Resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internalstakeholders Reconciliations& Controls Reconcile supplier statements and resolve variances Maintain accurate accounts payable ledgers Assist with month-end close, including accruals andAP reconciliations Ensure compliance with internal controls and auditrequirements Vendor &Stakeholder Management Maintain vendor master data Respond promptly to supplier and internal queries Build and maintain positive working relationships withsuppliers ProcessImprovement Identify opportunities to improve AP processes andefficiency Support automation and system improvements Key Skills &Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage high-volume transactional workloads Good organisational and time-management skills Strong communication and problem-solvingabilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge &Experience 1-3+ years' experience in an accounts payable or financerole Experience in invoice processing and supplierreconciliations Strong Excel skills Salary - €35,000 to €38,000 (Depending on experience) Location - On site Swift Square, Northwood Avenue, Santry.
