Part Qualified Accountant- Lucan- Practice- Hybrid, Dublin

We are seeking a motivated Part-Qualified Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in Lucan. The successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, providing accounting, taxation, and advisory services. This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting functions and an opportunity to develop strong client relationships within a professional practice environment. What's on offer: Hybrid working with 3 days in office Strong work life balance, early Friday finish, 5% pension On site parking Exposure to a wide range of SME clients Support for professional development and exams Friendly and collaborative practice environment This is a great opportunity for someone to further their accounts preparation experience and manage a portfolio of clients Salary is DOE: €35,000 - €40,000 Key Responsibilities: Preparation of annual financial statements for small and medium-sized companies in accordance with relevant accounting standards Assisting with VAT returns, RCT Returns, and VAT compliance Preparation and submission of Income Tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and directors Assisting with external Audits Preparation and filing of Corporation Tax returns Liaising with clients to obtain financial information and provide support on accounting queries Assisting clients with bookkeeping and cloud accounting software where required Supporting partners and senior staff with tax planning and advisory work Ensuring compliance with relevant tax and statutory filing deadlines Maintaining accurate client records and working papers Dealing with correspondence with the Revenue Commissioners where required Qualifications & Experience: Part-qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, Chartered Accountants Ireland, or CPA Ireland) Experience working in an accountancy practice environment is desirable Strong knowledge of Irish tax and accounting regulations Experience preparing company financial statements and tax returns Proficiency in accounting software packages and Microsoft Excel Experience with cloud accounting platforms (e.g. Xero, Sage, Bright) is an advantage Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple deadlines and clients Effective communication and client relationship skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills: trainee accountant part qualified accountant ACCA ACA Benefits: Work From Home pension hybrid study support
