Quantity Surveyor, Dublin

Quantity Surveyor– Civil Contractor (Hyperscale Data Centre Project) An enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor is required to join a civil contractor on a hyperscale data centre project in Espoo, Finland. This role will support the commercial and cost management aspects of a major construction project, ensuring financial efficiency and control throughout the lifecycle.

This opportunity is open to both local candidates and EU-based professionals, with flexible working arrangements depending on location.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans

Monitor project costs and track variations

Support procurement processes, including tendering and subcontractor management

Prepare valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts

Conduct cost analysis and reporting to support decision-making

Liaise with site teams, project managers, and subcontractors

Ensure all commercial activities are aligned with contract requirements

Requirements

Minimum

2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying

Experience working on

construction or civil engineering projects

Strong understanding of cost control and commercial processes

Good knowledge of contracts and procurement methods

Proficiency in relevant software and strong Excel skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Must hold an

EU passport

or have

valid Finnish residency
