Field Service Technician, Dublin

Mobile Fitter / Field Service Technician Job Type: Permanent | Location: Co. Louth | Ref: S11927

RecruitmentPlus, on behalf of our client, is seeking a mobile repair technician for a repair and service role with an international manufacturer based in Co. Louth. A background in mechanical, hydraulics, machinery repair or tyre fitting is beneficial, though full training will be given.

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with rare call‑outs outside these hours on an on‑call rota.

Requirements

Full clean B driving licence and preferably previous experience in a field service or large van driving role.

Comfortable in a mechanical environment with knowledge of plant&machinery.

Manual handling, SafePass or Quarry Pass ideally.

Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships.

Excellent attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.

Enjoys working in the field, across a variety of industries and equipment.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Available for on‑call rota.

Key Duties&Responsibilities

Provide customer‑first service by offering a professional on‑site replacement / breakdown service.

Remove damaged parts from equipment and produce replacements on site from your mobile workshop.

Test the system upon repair completion to ensure quality and safety; full training will be given.

Manage the day‑to‑day operation of the vehicle/workshop, including maintaining stock levels and performing routine checks.

Increase revenue through product add‑ons in your own client base to avail of an attractive commission and bonus structure.

Represent the company professionally and friendly at all on‑site call‑outs.

Support the Counter Sales team in shop.

Ensure company safety policy and/or customer safety policy is followed at all times.
