Job Description The Research&Development Data Office (RADO) is responsible for establishing data governance, standards, and a unified data strategy across Regulatory Affairs and R&D. As Manager, the incumbent will drive implementation of key data governance initiatives and lead cross‑functional programs.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation and implementation of the R&D Data Dictionary, including stakeholder alignment on data ownership and attribute definitions.

Build and maintain an R&D Data Quality Management Framework and provide dashboards to monitor data quality performance.

Oversee change management and continuous improvement activities, including awareness, training, and stakeholder engagement.

Facilitate feedback sessions with Data Stewards to refine processes and strengthen collaboration.

Promote a culture of high data quality, transparency, and operational excellence within the R&D environment.

Model J&J Leadership Imperatives (Live Our Credo, Connect, Shape, Grow) in daily actions and cross‑functional influence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; preferred fields: Engineering, Life Sciences, R&D, Information Management, or related areas.

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in R&D, quality, regulatory, or related fields.

In‑depth understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management principles.

Experience leading application of R&D digital and data systems.

Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills with ability to work cross‑functionally with global teams.

Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Strong partnership and influence skills within matrixed environments.

Problem‑solving ability to address complex data management and analytics issues.
