Graduate Data Engineer, Analytics Team (2‑Year Fixed Term Contract) Location:
Dublin, Ireland Contract:
2 years
You will report to a Senior Data Engineer and focus on implementing and orchestrating scalable data pipelines that deliver reliable and consistent data to Data Analysts and Data Scientists for dashboards and models. The role also includes working across teams to gather, wrangle, cleanse, and structure data to support commercial analytics use‑cases.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements and deliver data products for commercial analytics.
Ensure data quality and reliability for dashboards and predictive models.
Support the development and implementation of scalable data architectures in cloud environments.
Document pipeline designs, processes, and best practices.
Act as a technical ambassador to promote data engineering solutions within the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
Basic proficiency in core programming languages (Python, Java, C++).
Solid SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
Familiarity with data pipeline, modeling, and workflow management tools in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, etc.).
Basic proficiency with data visualization tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, DOMO, Sigma, etc.).
Intermediate knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
Attention to detail, strong time‑management and organizational skills.
Ability to navigate ambiguity in business requirements and technology options.
Willingness to experiment, learn new tools and techniques, and leverage AI for problem solving.
