St. Francis Hospice Dublin provides a comprehensive range of palliative care services for patients and their families living in North Dublin City and County.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative organisation that is committed to the delivery of first class services to patients with life‑limiting conditions and their families.
Role Overview The Charge Hand will play a key role in supporting and collaborating with the General Services team to contribute to the long‑term development of general services within St. Francis Hospice Dublin.
Responsibilities Support and collaborate with the General Services team to develop and manage general services and maintenance activities within the hospice.
Qualifications
Possess a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Level 6 (or higher) Advanced Certificate Craft (or equivalent qualification)
Possess the National Craft Certificate issued by FETAC
Possess the Senior Trades Certificate issued by the Department of Education
Have a minimum of 1 year post qualification / apprenticeship experience in maintenance of industrial, commercial and domestic type buildings.
Demonstrate ability to operate across all disciplines of maintenance at trade level, showing good technical knowledge of all engineering and building services within the hospice environment.
Have a full driving licence.
