Wedding and Events Executive About Your New Employer A prestigious and well-established hotel in County Offaly is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Wedding&Events Executive to support the continued growth of its busy weddings and events division. Known for exceptional guest experiences and premium events, the hotel offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic hospitality team. About Your New Job as a Wedding and Events Executive Manage wedding and event enquiries from initial contact to final execution, converting leads into confirmed bookings while delivering exceptional customer service.Conduct site visits, prepare proposals/contracts/function sheets, and guide clients through event planning including menus, décor, layouts, and timelines. Coordinate closely with hotel departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of weddings, conferences, and events. Track deposits, contracts, and payments while identifying upselling opportunities to enhance client experience and achieve revenue targets.Represent the hotel at wedding fairs, trade shows, and client meetings while maintaining awareness of competitor activity and local market trends. What Skills You Need 2+ years’ experience in weddings, events, or hospitality (preferably in a 4-star hotel) with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a sales-driven, customer-focused approach. High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to remain calm and proactive under pressure. Proficient in hotel/event management systems (e.g. Hotsoft or similar) with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.Professional, warm, and approachable personality; hospitality or event management qualification and knowledge of Irish wedding traditions/suppliers desirable.
