About the role:
The Graphic Design Specialist plays a key role in delivering high-quality, impactful creative that supports brand growth, customer engagement, and commercial objectives across Flogas and Budget Energy. Working across digital, CRM, web, social, campaigns, and commercial communications, the role is responsible for translating briefs into compelling visual content that is customer-focused, on-brand, and aligned to business goals. Operating within a fast-paced environment, the role partners closely with Marketing, Digital, and Commercial teams to deliver creative solutions that enhance the customer experience while maintaining strong brand consistency, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Delivery&Campaign Support
Deliver high-quality creative across key marketing campaigns, from brief through to final output Translate briefs into compelling, well-crafted visual comms that stand out and deliver impact Contribute to creative development, bringing ideas and design thinking to campaign planningEnsure all creative aligns to audience, channel and commercial objectivesMaintain a strong focus on detail, craft, and visual impact across all outputs
Design Delivery Across Channels
Deliver design across a wide range of outputs, including digital campaigns such as social, display and performance marketing assets Create assets for website and landing pages in collaboration with Digital teams Design CRM and customer communications including email, onboarding and retention journeysProduce sales materials, presentations and commercial collateral Support creative for events, sponsorships and internal communications Adapt and optimise creative for different formats, channels and audiences Ensure all outputs are on brand, fit for purpose and delivered to a consistently high standard
Brand Governance&Compliance
Act as a key custodian of the Flogas and Budget Energy visual identities Ensure consistent application of brand across all communications and touchpoints Maintain and apply brand guidelines across the organisation Ensure all creative meets brand, legal, regulatory and accessibility requirementsReview and refine outputs to ensure clarity, accuracy and consistency
Digital&Customer Experience
Design with a digital-first mindset, supporting engagement&conversion across key journeys Work closely with Digital teams on website updates, landing pages and campaign activity Create assets that support acquisition, retention, and cross-sell activity
Collaboration&Delivery
Work closely with Marketing, Digital and Commercial teams to deliver effective creative solutions Take ownership of briefs from intake through to delivery, ensuring clarity on objectives and timelines Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing speed, quality and stakeholder expectations Work with external partners where required to support delivery&maintain consistency of output
Team Support&Continuous Improvement
Shape a clear&simple briefing approach for design work, for alignment on priorities&timelines Introduce a shared way of tracking design work, giving the wider team visibility of progress and status Develop templates and reusable assets to support efficiency and consistency Support and mentor team members, helping to build graphic design capability within the marketing team Stay up to date with design trends and bring fresh thinking where relevant
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Quality and consistency of creative output Effectiveness of campaign and digital assets On-time delivery of projects Compliance with brand, accessibility, and regulatory standards Stakeholder satisfaction and quality of deliver
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a highly creative and commercially minded design professional with 5-7 years' experience in graphic design roles, either agency-side or in-house. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, multi-channel creative across digital, social, print, and campaign work, with proven experience applying and evolving brand guidelines across multiple touchpoints. They will possess strong visual communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of digital design performance, including UX/UI awareness and responsive design principles. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused, with a passion for delivering engaging creative that supports both customer and commercial outcomes. A master's degree in marketing, Digital, Business, or a related discipline is desirable .
