Planning Engineer, Dublin

Planning Engineer A leading Tier 2 Main Building Contractor is looking to bring on an experienced Planning Engineer to join their team in Dublin. With several large-scale projects currently underway, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing, coordinating and managing project schedules across a varied portfolio of builds, working across the full project life cycle and collaborating closely with Engineering, Design, Construction Management and Commissioning teams. The company has a genuine track record of retaining staff and investing in their people, and is continuing to grow substantially. Duties: - Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 and MS Project - Produce and issue progress reports, lookahead schedules and delay analyses - Attend site and client meetings, providing planning updates and schedule commentary - Identify and communicate programme risks, delays and mitigation measures to the project team - Coordinate with site management, subcontractors and design teams to ensure schedules remain realistic and up to date - Support the preparation of tender programmes and method statements - Track actual progress against baseline and produce earned value and performance reports Requirements: Around 5 years of planning experience gained with a Main Contractor Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project Strong analytical ability with a methodical approach to problem-solving Clear communicator who works well with people at all levels Solid time management and the ability to prioritise effectively A proactive mindset with the confidence to make decisions and take ownership of your work Package: Basic salary circa€70k -€80k Industry leading Benefits package Company vehicle If you are a Planning Engineerconsidering a career move, please feel to send your CV orcontact Declan Hassonfor a confidential discussion.
