Quantity Surveyor, Dublin

Company Intro / Summary A leading Tier One Main Contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team working on a large-scale residential project in Dublin. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality developments across Ireland, the company continues to secure major residential schemes and maintain a substantial pipeline of work. The successful candidate will initially join a flagship residential project with approximately two years of work remaining, before transitioning onto further residential developments within the companys portfolio offering strong long-term stability and career progression. Responsibilities Manage the commercial aspects of residential construction projects. Prepare and oversee project budgets, valuations, and cost reports. Procure and manage subcontractor packages. Prepare and assess variations, claims, and final accounts. Monitor project costs and provide accurate forecasting. Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure strong commercial control. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures. Support senior commercial staff with reporting and project delivery. Requirements Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline. 3+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a contractor environment. Residential construction experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of commercial management and contract administration. Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment. Motivated individual seeking long-term progression within a Tier One contractor. Package€65,000 - €70,000 DOE Full-time, permanent position based in Dublin. Initial placement on a major residential development with approximately two years of work secured.
