Role Overview: This position is ideal for a tax or accounting graduate with experience in the R&D tax credit and grant incentives space who is eager to join Grant Thornton's expanding R&D Incentives practice. We are seeking an assistant manager with experience in the R&D tax credit and grant incentives space. The role offers the chance to play a key part in the development and success of our business. Key Duties: Collaborate directly with clients from various industries, using your expertise to assess the eligibility of R&D expenditure for tax relief under Irish legislation and Revenue guidance. Take the lead on client engagements, review expenditure items, and identify qualifying R&D costs. Prepare and review financial submissions to Irish Revenue and funding bodies, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Oversee multiple client engagements and review outputs from colleagues. Work across a diverse client portfolio, ensuring that quality standards and risk controls are consistently maintained. Candidate Profile: Tax or account qualified or experienced. 3+ years post-qualification experience in R&D tax credits or incentives, gained within a professional services or advisory setting. Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver high-quality results within tight timeframes.
