Location: Newbridge, Co Kildare Salary: €75,+ DOE + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits Working model: Hyrbid A well-established international logistics provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its commercial team in Ireland.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a proven freight sales professional currently working within the freight forwarding/logistics sector who has a strong track record of winning and developing business across Sea Freight and Road Freight services. Exposure to Air Freight and Contract Logistics is also highly desirable.
The successful candidate will inherit an active territory and will focus on developing new business opportunities while building long-term strategic relationships with customers across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities Generate and win new freight forwarding business across Ireland Develop opportunities across Sea Freight, Road Freight, Air Freight, and Contract Logistics services Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to onboarding Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders Attend customer meetings, networking events, and industry functions Work closely with operational and commercial teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting Candidate Profile Current experience in freight forwarding business development is essential Strong commercial background within Sea Freight and Road Freight sales Proven ability to generate and close new business opportunities Existing customer relationships and market knowledge within Ireland advantageous Strong understanding of international logistics and supply chain solutions Self-motivated, commercially driven, and target-focused Excellent communication and relationship management skills Package Salary negotiable depending on experience and business potential Car allowance Bonus structure Additional benefits package This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing logistics organisation with strong market presence and long-term growth plans.
