Mercier Consultancy MD is seeking a German Speaking Digital Trust and Safety Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role is critical in maintaining the safety and integrity of our digital platforms, ensuring users have a secure and trusted experience. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating online risks and threats, while supporting our commitment to digital trust.

• Monitor user-generated content and platform activities to identify potential safety risks and policy violations.
• Conduct in-depth investigations on reported incidents, applying analytical skills to assess risks and determine appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical and security departments to develop and enforce safety protocols and policies.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings to inform stakeholders and guide decision-making.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, threats, and best practices in digital safety to proactively address vulnerabilities.
• Promote awareness and understanding of digital safety measures among users and internal teams.

Requirements

• Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is required; proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Experience in digital trust and safety, online moderation, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with users and colleagues.
• Familiarity with digital content management systems and safety tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in Sofia, Bulgaria.
