Hotel Night Porter, Dublin

The Royal Marine Hotel is currently recruiting a part-time Night Porter to join our team. We are seeking a professional and dependable individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, while providing excellent guest support throughout the night.

Working Hours

• 3-4 shifts/week
• 23:00 - 07:30 shifts
• Flexibility required, including weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all public areas (lobby, corridors, guest facilities)
• Carry out regular cleaning duties and ensure the hotel remains tidy and presentable overnight
• Assist guests and groups with luggage handling, including late arrivals and early departures
• Provide a friendly and professional service at all times
• Conduct routine security checks to ensure the safety of the property
• Respond promptly to guest requests and enquiries
• Prepare public areas for the morning shift, ensuring everything is clean and ready

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Physically capable of assisting with luggage handling
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
