Sr. STAFF SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER
THE ROLE:
The focus of this role is to design high performance Radio Frequency (RF) Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog Converters (ADCs and DACs) which are integrated into FPGA Devices.
THE PERSON:
You have a passion for RF and Mixed-Signal Design. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop circuit architectures to meet requirement specificationsSimulation test bench development and simulation verification of the developed circuit architectures (schematic and layout)Collaborate closely with Layout Engineers to implement your design in layoutEMIR and Reliability validation of design circuitsPartaking in on-going design reviews over the course of the design cycleValidation of your design on return of Silicon from Fab.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 Years Experience in design of high performance data converters and / or high speed (GHz) circuitsExperience in designing High Performance Digital-to-Analog Converters (eg: Current Steering DAC)Experience in designing a range of analog circuits such as amplifiers, oscillators, reference circuits and comparatorsExcellent understanding of process technology and the influence on circuit behaviorExcellent understanding of circuit simulators and simulation techniquesAbility to create innovate circuits and identify novel circuit techniquesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work well as part of a teamACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronic Engineering#LI-PL1
