Afterschool Centre Manager - St Marys Donnybrook, Dublin

We are Kids Inc. We provide Early Years and Afterschool Care services. With an experience of more than 25 years in the childcare industry, we're one of the most established organizations operating geographically all over Ireland. Our goal to extend children's daily learning by involving them in a wide range of sports and creative programs, with a strict 'No Screen Time' policy. With 4 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin, Kids Inc is also hosting over 70 'Onsite" Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs throughout the country.

We are looking for kind, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with children to join our team. We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Term-Time Manager, in St Marys school to join our busy Afterschool & Holiday service as of January 2025. Please note this role will operate Monday-Friday between the hours of 13:00-18:30.

The Role:

• Daily management of the centre, including administration and completion of reports
• Organise the upcoming week according to company guidelines
• Ensure that all team members are on board with the weekly plans and clearly delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
• Support staff to ensure the holistic development of the children
• Maintain close, effective, working partnerships with staff and parents to ensure the wellbeing of their children and to achieve the centre's goals.

Your Profile:

• Professional experience working with children
• Previous experience as a manager in a childcare or educational setting preferable
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in training other team members
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• A relevant childcare or teaching qualification (desirable)
