Job Description Dunnes Stores is Ireland's leading retailer positioned at the cutting edge of food and fashion retailing. We are expanding our service and product offering for our customers all the time. We're recruiting a seniorgraphicdesignerto work as part of the creative and marketing team at Dunnes Stores. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, passionate designer,with 7+ years' experience with exceptional standard of design and expertise in both print and digital who enjoys working in collaboration with others and is a stickler for their craft. The senior graphicdesignerwill work closely with other key departments within the business such as the paid performance team, ecommerce, in-house photography studio, store operations, visual merchandising, and, when required, external creative agencies. Thegraphicdesignerwill be responsible for creative output from ideation to design, and amends to final artwork, while adhering to Dunnes Stores brand guidelines. Responsibilities Ability to interpret and create strong design concepts that work across multiple touchpoints delivering stand-out campaigns. Design and deliver multiple visual solutions through to print-ready files e.g. POS, brochures, leaflets, flyers, packaging, in-store signage, window displays, large format and eventgraphics Develop campaigns with strong design aesthetic (e.g. seasonal events) that can be used across grocery, fashion and home. Collaborate with fellow designers, content creators, content and copywriters and the marketing team to ensure high quality content delivery. Work to tight deadlines while ensuring branding is consistent. Keep informed about best practice when it comes to creative and design trends both within the industry as well as from peer competitor brands, ensuring the standard of work for Dunnes Stores is consistently high. Capturing and critiquing campaigns to ensure continuous feedback so that standard of design remains consistently strong. Advocate for improved design standards through strong influencing skills and showcases Requirements: BA in Graphic Design or similar. A strong portfolio of work displaying creativity and design acumen. 7+ years relevant experience ingraphicdesign in an advertising or design agency, or in a similar in-house role. Proficient in Adobe CC; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Premier Pro. Excellent creative and technical skills in typesetting, print and production. Highly organised individual with an ability to thrive within fast-paced environments. Exceptional eye for detail. Flexible, creative, ambitious and a team player. Ability to manage and organise briefs and storyboards. Conceptual & creative thinker. A natural problem solver. Fluency in English. Excellent written and communication skills required. Interested?
